born in switzerland but living for 20+ years in los angeles, peter is principal and lead designer at studio mousetrap, a boutique design firm that provides hard-working graphic design, marketing and public relations solutions to a limited group of clients within the design and architectural industries. together with zoë melo he co-founded TOUCH in 2007. providing his global perspective is an asset to clients who want to reach audiences in today’s culturally diverse marketplace or extend their reach internationally. his m.f.a. thesis at art center college of design was an investigation into packaging and the dynamics behind it, which are not unlike the same dynamics he sees when working on low_down. being addicted to modern design goes back to his early childhood as his memories include playing in arne jacobsen’s egg chair. he admits however that he did not see it as an egg chair then, but as the “spinning elephant chair.”
