issue.

this year’s low_down is different than the last version. while we did not switch to the intended quarterly format – something we might (or might not do) in the future – we have decided to include images. after all, our intention is to provide a good, opinionated, overview of what has happened and what we’ve seen develop. and from at least some feedback received, pictures might be helpful in providing that quick read. a fresh component this year are video clips from milan 2008. these rough and unnarrated pieces are intended to give you a better sense of an event than a still image might provide. they are not intended to be master pieces of cinematography. overall, this report is more straight-forward and as we see it.

and let us be clear: low_down is not intended to be an all inclusive, comprehensive report. it is what we notice, hear and see. what sticks. what we remember. others see the world quite differently than we do -- (and that's okay).

low_down 2 - 12/2008 is available now.
the issue highlights the year 2008

low_down is a report. a summary. it contains findings, trends, noteworthy developments and observations, and yes, our opinion. low_down is not a magazine. there are no glossy pictures, no advertisers. we believe that low_down will save you time and provide you with a different viewpoint.
